Experience “The Best Care in the Air”® With Midwest Airlines
“The best care in the air”® is Midwest Airlines’ tagline because they boast of the incomparable customer service they provide their guests for a truly wonderful flight experience. Midwest Airlines was formerly known as Midwest Express Airlines owned by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. It has several jet aircrafts flying daily to-and-from different points in the United States. Although not the largest airline in the US, Midwest Airlines has gained its reputation and popularity with the quality of service they provide and the amenities they have onboard.
Midwest Airlines has two types of flights – the Signature Service and Saver Service flights. Saver Service flights are like the economy class in other airlines. But even if it is their lower end kind of flight, the seats are better than other airlines. Saver flight seats are wider and provide more legroom than normal seats found in other airlines’ economy class flights. Signature Service flights are the airline’s version of business class flights. The seats all throughout the plane are even wider than Saver flights’ to provide extra comfort to the passengers especially during long flights. And speaking of long flights, guests can also rent the Midwest Airlines’ so-called digEplayer™ if they want to watch a movie or listen to music during their long travel. This is a handheld device with pre-programmed movies, music selections, cartoons and more, that will surely provide great entertainment to adults and kids alike.
Another thing Midwest Airlines is proud of is their chocolate chip cookies freshly baked onboard. Both Signature and Saver passengers can have these yummy cookies for free. Aside from their famous cookies, Midwest also features their dining service with meals specially prepared by the chef of one of the finest restaurants in Milwaukee. These meals can be availed for as low as $5 for breakfast and $7 for lunch or dinner selections.
Just like any other airline company, safety of their passengers is also Midwest Airlines’ number one priority. Regular maintenance is performed on all their aircrafts and it strictly follows the regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration, which earned them the FAA’s Certificate of Excellence Diamond Award. Thus, guests can be assured that they will reach their destination safe and sound.
Midwest Airlines also has their own frequent flyer program, which they call Midwest Miles, to entice passengers on flying with them again and again. There are several ways to earn mileage points, as well as using those earned miles, since they partnered with several establishments across the country. One can also easily check his mileage points through their website and find out the different possibilities of using them. Also, with Midwest Airlines’ website, passengers can book their desired flights online and be guaranteed of the lowest fare there is. They even posed a challenge that if a passenger finds an online travel agency offering at least $5 less than their purchased ticket price, they will gladly send the customer a box of their delicious cookies. That seems to be a fair deal.
With all the features mentioned and quality of service each of the flight staff provides, Midwest Airlines can surely stand to their motto. Their kind of service, with personal touch, is one factor that has made them popular among other airlines in the US. Of course, their spacious seats and famous cookies should not be taken for granted as well.
